What Are The Games In ‘Squid Game’?

Squid Game becomes the biggest series launch of Netflix ever. The series is live on Netflix platform where you can watch it right away.

In a contest in which 456 players, where they play a series of children’s games with deadly penalties, that of course is death.

So what are the games in ‘SQUID GAME’

Here is the list of all the games in SQUID GAME

There are total 8 game or sports are shown in the series, if you count eliminating by killing a sport, if not then there are 7 games.

Out of which 6 are the main event games in sequential order to be played in 6 days and one is to recruit the players.

1.RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT

In this game, players move forward when they hear “GREEN LIGHT” and stop when they hear “RED LIGHT”. If found moving by the “Giant Robot Doll” standing behind the finish line, then that player will be eliminated.

2.DALGONA CANDY

Each player is given a box of melted sugar with a shape engraved on it, players have to cast out the shape using a needle without breaking it. If the shape breaks the players who is unable to cast out the shape will have to die.

3.TUG OF WAR

Players are divided into teams of 10 and they take on each other. The catch is that the player are not evenly divided according to their strengths, they just have to work what ever team member they have got. Losing team dies by falling from the platform.

4.MARBLES

Two players take on each other, each one is provided 10 marbles and in order to win one has to take all the marble from other player without using violence. Losing one dies.

5.THE GLASS STEPPING STONE

Players are made to stand in a line as per the number they chose without knowing about the game. There are two parallel glass panel in front of the players, one can bear the weight of 2 players at a time (tempered glass) and other can not bear the weight of even one player (normal glass). One by one players have to choose on of the glass and jump on it. Choosing the wrong glass step will mean death by crashing and falling.

6.SQUID (GAME) also known as “ojingeo“

For final game of the series they play Squid. The game is named as such because the shape of the game board drawn on the ground resembles that of a squid. It is a game native to Korea and is considered as one of the most aggressing children games.

7.DDAKJI *

It is game played by at least 2 players, where one player tries to flip over the “disc/folded-paper” of the other player by hitting it hard by their disc. If it flips the player wins if not the other player wins. This game was played to recruit the contestants for the main event. There is a theory that the people who chose red were recruited as the guard and the players who chose blue were the contestants.

8.MID NIGHT FIGHT *

This game was shown in the series as the special game, the payer were stressed and under-fed and introduced the new rule that they can kill other players if they want, except while playing the actual game and if it is against the rule. Knowing this rule the first time they had fight in the mid night.
