Our beloved character “Gunther” from the most beloved and internationally famous comedy sitcom “FRIENDS” played by “James Michael Tyler” is dead.

Gunther is the manager of fictional café Central Perk, in the TV series Friends, died on Sunday, 24 Oct,2021 at the age of 59 after a lengthy illness.

How did Gunther die?

The actor died of Prostate cancer, he was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in September 2018 during a routine checkups, by that time he was already in advanced stage. Later the cancer spread through the bones,

The actor announced in June this year during an appearance on NBC’s Today program. that, during the pandemic, his cancer metastasized causing fractures in his bones and tumors in his spine.
